The Smart CV

We created the S.M.A.R.T. CV Framework to help professionals build resumes that actually work in today’s job market. In our SMART approach, every bullet point follows a simple but powerful formula: Action Verb + Task or Project + Measurable Result. We encourage candidates to use real numbers because metrics create clarity, credibility, and a stronger sense of scale. It’s the difference between saying “handled customer inquiries” and “resolved 120+ customer inquiries monthly, improving response time by 30 minutes.”

Another core element of the SMART CV is alignment. Each CV must be tailored to the specific job being applied for.
